Every knowledge worker drowns in information. NotebookLM changes what is possible when that information becomes a structured, queryable, thinking partner.

NotebookLM Mastery teaches professionals how to use Google’s NotebookLM — one of the most powerful tools in the generative AI landscape — not as a chatbot, but as a research and synthesis platform. The course moves delegates from basic use to advanced workflows that compress days of reading and note-taking into hours of structured insight.

Unlike general AI tool courses, NotebookLM Mastery focuses on the craft of knowledge work: how to curate source collections, how to phrase questions that elicit real synthesis rather than summary, how to generate briefings, podcasts, and study guides from heterogeneous sources, and how to integrate NotebookLM into a broader research workflow.

By the end of the course, delegates have mastered NotebookLM for their own domain — with a personal knowledge base built in the classroom, a library of reusable prompts, and a workflow template ready to deploy in their team. The course is especially valuable for professionals whose work involves reading and synthesising large volumes of text.

  • FAQs

Do I need a Google account to attend?

Yes, a Google account is required to access NotebookLM. A personal Gmail account is sufficient. We recommend creating a dedicated account for the course if you prefer to keep it separate from your primary workflows.

    Is NotebookLM free?

NotebookLM is currently free to use for individual users with generous limits. Google offers a Plus tier with higher limits for professional use. The course covers both.

How does this differ from a ChatGPT or Claude course?

NotebookLM is grounded in curated sources you provide — it answers from your documents, not from general training data. This makes it qualitatively different and particularly powerful for research work. The course focuses on this specific capability.

What kind of sources will we work with?

The course uses a mix of sample sources (academic papers, business reports, regulatory documents) and — where appropriate — sources you bring from your own domain. You should not bring confidential material you are not authorised to upload to third-party services.

What do I need to bring?

A laptop with a modern browser, a Google account, and optionally 5–10 source documents relevant to your professional work that you are comfortable uploading.

    Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. All participants receive a co-branded Certificate of Completion from Axonforce and Acudemy.

Can this course be customised for a specific research domain?

Yes — bespoke cohorts focused on a specific domain (legal research, scientific literature, market intelligence, policy analysis) can be arranged through Acudemy.

What language is the course delivered in?

English. NotebookLM supports multilingual sources, so you can work with materials in other languages during exercises if you wish.

What is provided with the course?

Full course materials, a starter notebook with sample sources, the Axonforce prompt library for NotebookLM, a workflow template document, co-branded certificate.
